No Sight is Insight: A Dialogue about Disability & Inclusion With Esli Ramos

Motivational Monday – The Martha Empowers Podcast releases Episode #9 “No Sight is Insight: A Dialogue about Disability and Inclusion” with Esli Ramos, an empowering student voice in addressing disability awareness in higher education.

This week, on July 26th, we celebrate the 31st anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act, also known as (ADA). The ADA was groundbreaking legislation passed to create opportunities for equitable participation for people with disabilities.

The impact of ADA in higher education has been a catalyst to enhance the success of students with disabilities by ensuring an accessible and equitable college environment.

Listen, learn and start a conversation about disability awareness to promote student access, inclusion, and success on your campus and community. Share with others to promote visibility about our diverse abilities and strengths, and to build a stronger community together because inclusion begins with you!

Also, let me wish a wonderful early Happy Birthday Blessings, Feliz Cumpleaños to Esli!

Thank you, muchas gracias for sharing your inspiring story, for your advocacy, and for being a champion and student voice for disability awareness and inclusion. I’m excited to celebrate this moment for ADA with you as well as celebrating July as Disability Pride Month!
