My Undocumented College Journey

Martha Empowers Podcast releases episode #2 “My Undocumented College Journey” with guest speaker Ms. Ana Campa Castillo.

Ana is one of the many students whom I've had the honor to mentor and guide on the scholarship process. My mentoring has supported hundreds of students in my professional career to receive over $100,000 in scholarships.

Ana is a mother, student leader, activist, and recipient of a $31,000 TheDream US Scholarship. As a returning adult college student, Ms. Ana was an engaged student leader on campus with Latinos Unidos and in the community with immigrant and refugee families. She graduated with an Associate’s degree from Joliet Junior College, Bachelor of Arts from National Louis University, and she is currently pursuing a Masters of Arts in Clinical Psychology.

The story of Ana is one of the many voices of courage, strength, and resilience from our undocumented students in higher education. It has been a privilege to be part of Ana’s educational journey. Please support this podcast by listening, sharing, and leaving a comment so others may be inspired by Ana’s story. Muchas gracias y adelante!
