Eddies is a student leader who started his educational journey to becoming a doctor at the community college, and he has earned over $100,000 in college scholarships!
Paying for college can be a daunting challenge for many 1st generation students and their familias. In this episode, we discussed one of the many ways students can support financing their educational journey through scholarships/becas- free money to pay for college!
I had the privilege of advising and mentoring Eddie at Joliet Junior College as a student leader in Latinos Unidos and he offers invaluable advice and tips for high school and college students on where to search for scholarships and how to win scholarships.
